As a way to highlight the perversity of the decades-long Kashmir stand-off between India and Pakistan, I decided to go to Kashmir's heavily fortified Line of Control, climb the nearest mountain, and use an iron and ironing board to 'ironboard' among civilians and soldiers alike who are stuck in the high Himalayas, seemingly forgotten by the rest of the world.

It made for many laughs and a great conversation-starter. What was I doing way up in the Himalayas with an iron and board? I was here to iron out the differences between these two nuclear neighbours who seemed to be suffering from iron deficiency!
