As a Divemaster, I've been fortunate enough to have enjoyed a lot of exciting dives, but few can compare to being one of the first to explore a virtually untouched Japanese WWII wreck in the clear blue waters of the South China Sea. This was in 2003. The Eikyo Maru lies at 34m below sea level and still has live bullets and monogrammed, dainty rice bowls scattered about everywhere, a testament to the night its sudden end by a volley of torpedoes.
